PoINT Archival Gateway

PoINT Archival Gateway is an S3-toTape software solution for cost and energy efficient storage of growing data volumes. The tape-based S3 object storage
provides scalability and performance especially for data-intensive use cases. The solution serves as a backup and replication
target for cloud and object data as well as for archiving large data volumes. The supported tape storage systems ensure
the economical and energy-efficient storage of large data volumes. The offline capability of tape media also increases data
protection with regard to cyberattacks. PoINT Archival Gateway allows for the simple and seamless integration of tape
libraries via the established S3 interface. Thus, all applications supporting either S3 Standard or S3 Glacier can use PoINT
Archival Gateway to store data on tape media and benefit from the advantages of this storage technology.
